Pressure Washing & Exterior Cleaning · Santa Barbara
The Right Process for Every Surface.
From driveways and patios to delicate home exteriors and natural wood, we choose the cleaning method around the surface, not the other way around.
Get a QuoteMore pressure isn't always better.
Using excessive pressure on the wrong surface can cause damage, which is why we choose the cleaning method based on the material being treated. A driveway and a painted wall are not the same job, and they should not get the same equipment.
Method one
Pressure Washing.
Controlled pressure on durable surfaces, where it belongs. This is what lifts years of ground-in dirt, oil, and organic buildup out of concrete and hardscape and gets the colour back.
Driveways
Ground-in dirt, tyre marks, and oil staining.
Concrete & Walkways
Paths, steps, and pool surrounds.
Patios
Pavers, flagstone, and finished hardscape.
Durable Hardscape
Retaining walls and other hard exterior surfaces.
Method two
Soft Washing.
More delicate exterior surfaces need a lower-pressure process, where a cleaning solution does the work and the rinse is gentle. It is slower and it is the correct answer far more often than people expect.
We evaluate the surface first. Not every roof or exterior material can automatically be soft washed, and we would rather tell you that up front than find out halfway through.
House Exteriors
Stucco and painted surfaces, cleaned without stripping them.
Certain Siding
Wood and composite siding, depending on condition and finish.
Certain Roof Surfaces
Where the roof material and condition allow it.
Assessed firstAlgae & Mildew Treatment
The organic growth that comes back on shaded north-facing walls.
Method three
Deck Restoration.
A year of California sun turns even a well-built deck grey. The wood is not usually damaged, it is weathered back to bare timber. Restoration is what brings the natural tone out of it again.
After
Before
Depending on the deck, the process may involve cleaning, removing organic buildup, surface preparation, wood brightening, and an appropriate finish or oil where that is included in the project.
No two decks get the same treatment. The right process depends on the species, the condition, the existing finish, and the result you are after, which is why we look at it before quoting it.
How the Visit Goes.
Identify the Surface
We look at the material, its condition, and any existing finish before choosing a method.
Match the Method
Controlled pressure where the surface can take it, soft washing where it cannot.
Finish and Check
We rinse down, clear up, and walk the result with you before we leave.
Stay ahead of it
Never Think About It Again.
Algae, mildew, and stains all come back eventually. A recurring wash keeps them from ever building up enough to notice, and costs less per visit than calling us back for a one-time deep clean. Recurring customers get a discounted rate.

Questions We Get.
Can you pressure wash my roof?
We would not want to. High pressure damages most roof materials. Some roofs can be soft washed instead, but that depends on the material and its condition, so we assess it before agreeing to clean it at all.
Will pressure washing damage my stucco or paint?
It can, which is exactly why we soft wash those surfaces instead. Lower pressure, a cleaning solution doing the work, and a gentle rinse.
Does every deck get sanded and re-oiled?
No. Some decks need a clean and a brighten, others need preparation and a finish. It depends on the species, the condition, the existing finish, and what you want it to look like when we are done.
How long does a restored deck last before it needs doing again?
It depends on sun exposure, the finish used, and how much traffic the deck sees. A south-facing deck in full 805 sun weathers faster than a shaded one. We will give you a realistic expectation for yours rather than a number that sounds good.
Do you clean solar panels with pressure washing?
Never. Panels get purified water and soft brushes. That is a separate service, and you can read about it on our solar panel cleaning page.
