We started this company as students at UCSB. We never left, and we're still working the same stretch of coast.
How It Started
It Started in College.
Lavare began two years ago, back when we were still students at UC Santa Barbara.
It was supposed to be a way to cover rent between classes. Somewhere along the way it stopped feeling like a side job and turned into the thing we actually wanted to do.
We've graduated since. Same crew, same coast, still working the neighborhoods that got us through school. Isla Vista taught us how to hustle. Santa Barbara taught us why it's worth doing well.

Home Water
Salt Water Is the Reason We Stayed.
Most of us are in the water before or after work. On a real day off we're spearfishing, and if the crossing looks friendly, we're out at Santa Cruz Island until the light goes.
That's the honest reason we care what your house looks like. We're not visiting. This is home.

Why It Matters Here
We Know What This Coast Does to a House.
Living here teaches you things a manual can't. Salt air and the morning marine layer leave a film on everything facing the water. Dust rolls off the hills all summer. Pollen shows up every spring like clockwork. Sprinklers leave hard-water spots that will etch into glass if they sit long enough, and whatever the hillside is shedding ends up in your gutters.
None of it happens fast, which is why most people stop noticing. We notice, because we're fighting the same thing at our own places.

Safety Before Speed
Ladders set properly, roofs respected, nobody rushing a two-story job to stay on time. If the work needs different equipment, we come back with the right gear instead of improvising.
The Right Tool for the Surface
Wood, stucco, tile, and glass each want their own pressure and their own approach. Using the wrong one is how a cleaning turns into a repair bill.
